It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2027 15th International Conference on the Properties and Applications of Dielectric Materials (ICPADM 2027), which will be held at a highly attractive location that consistently draws a large number of participants, Prama Sanur Beach Bali, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia on 2-5 August 2027.
This triannual conference was first held in 1985, and the previous edition took place in Phuket, Thailand, from August 4 to 7, 2024. Over the years, ICPADM has established itself as a premier international forum for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, share research findings, and discuss the latest advancements in the properties and applications of dielectric materials and electrical insulation. ICPADM 2027 will continue this tradition by providing a platform for fruitful technical discussions, collaborative networking, and global knowledge exchange.
The conference is co-organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and Udayana University, Denpasar Bali, and proudly sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS).
I invite academics, professors, researchers, students, and practitioners from universities, research institutions, and industry to present their research findings and experiences regarding dielectric materials covering fundamentals, phenomena, development, and applications across various fields as well as insulation materials for the power industry and other applications.

The 15th International Conference on the Properties and Applications of Dielectric Materials (ICPADM) is the premier international forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners in the field of dielectric and electrical insulation materials. Since its inception in 1985, ICPADM has grown into a highly respected conference series sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS).
ICPADM 2027 marks the 15th edition of this prestigious conference, to be held for the first time in Bali, Indonesia. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
